All new students are required to take a Placement Test. The results will be used to register you for your courses. Students with an Associate’s Degree or higher, students who meet a certain score on the ACT test or students who have Advanced Placement credit may be exempt from taking the Placement Test. However, transfer students or those who already possess an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited institution may be required to take a Placement Test, depending on the prerequisites for the desired course. The Testing Office is located in Room L131.

Note: Students with documented disabilities (Individualized Educational Plans) are strongly encouraged to contact the Disability
Access Center in Room L135, prior to taking the Placement Test to arrange for testing accommodations.
