REMOTE ACCESS INSTRUCTIONS

The Wright Library is now offering off-campus access to our authenticated library databases.
Off-campus access to these library databases is available only to current City College of Chicago students, faculty, and staff.

Instructions:
1. You must first determine your official CCC student e-mail address. Anyone who is currently taking a class at any CCC will automatically be assigned a CCC student e-mail address. To find out what your CCC student e-mail address is, you can go to the CCC Student E-mail page at https://projects.ccc.edu/idmgmt/userlookup.htm

2. After finding out your CCC e-mail address, go to the Library Catalog page at http://library.ccc.edu and click on the
My Millennium link.

• Enter your Name in the format "Last Name, First Name".
            If your login fails, add your middle initial after your first name. For example: Smith Michael A
• Enter your official CCC student e-mail address (ex. bbazile@student.ccc.edu)
• Enter your 4-digit PIN (First-time users: If you do not have your 4-digit PIN, you can enter ANY
            four digits and then you will be asked to create your own PIN on the next screen.)

• Once your PIN is validated, you click the “Search Catalog” button.

Note: if you have problems setting up your off-campus access to the library databases, please contact the
circulation desk at 773-481-8400

Faculty/Staff Instructions:
Send an e-mail message (using the subject heading “Off-campus access”) to Librarian Online with the following information:
• Your last name, first name, and middle initial
• Your job title
• Your department
• Your phone extension
• Your official CCC e-mail address

After receiving your information, we will set up a patron record for you. We will inform you via email once your patron record has been set up. You can then follow steps above to access the library databases. Please contact the circulation desk at 773-481-8400 if you have any questions.
