CAMPS: ACE Camp
WHAT IS ACE CAMP?
Wilbur Wright College’s Aviation Career Education (ACE)Camp is a weeklong summer camp program that will be held at Wilbur Wright College from July 27 to July 31, 2009. It is designed to introduce inner city students, age 13 to 18, to flying and aviation related careers. Camp participants will learn about the world of aviation by participating in classroom activities and field trips.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
This year there are 20 slots available in the ACE Camp. Slots will be filled first with students who have never attended an ACE Camp. In addition, interested students must meet the following qualifications:
- Be at least 13 years old by
June 15, 2009
- Have at least a “C”average
- Be physically fit to participate in
camp activities
- Be interested in aviation!
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
ACE Camp tuition is $175 and is to be paid when a student is notified of acceptance. The tuition covers meals, field trip transportation, and other camp activities.
