Qualifications for Tutorial Positions
The Center needs eligible students (current or transfer) and alumni to tutor in the following subjects:
Biology (General, Anatomy/Physiology, Micro)
Business (Accounting, Business Math, Introduction, Business Law, etc.)
English (Composition/Writing, Reading, Literature, ESL, Speech)
Humanities (Fine Arts, Humanities, Literature, Philosophy)
Mathematics (Basic to Calculus)
Physical Sciences (General, Astronomy, Chemistry, Physics, etc)
Social Sciences (General, Anthropology, Economics, History, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology)
HOURS: 25 hours or less per week (Days, evening, and Saturday)
SALARY: $8.00 and up (Depending on academic background)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicant
must have an overall G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher, a G.P.A. of 4.0 in the
subject matter, and have good study skills. Candidate needs proficiency
in two or more subject areas. Must be personable, enjoy working with
students and instructors, dependable, outgoing, enthusiastic,
understanding and patient.
