Transfer Programs of Study
Disciplines within the
transfer programs
Some lead to an Associate of Arts
Degree and others to an Associate in Science
Degree. These degrees are designed specifically for students who intend
to transfer and earn a four-year baccalaureate degree at another
institution. These programs of study are primarily designed to meet the General Education requirements; students can select a program that is
designed to meet the needs of their planned major.
Students should note that the course
sequences described here are recommendations and therefore they may be
required to meet other criteria developed by the four-year institution to
which they plan to
transfer.
Admission Requirements:
All Associate in Arts
Degree (A.A.) programs require students to place in English 101, read at
the 12th grade level, and place in Mathematics 118 or above. All Associate in Science (A.S.) Degree programs require that students place in English 101, read at
the 12th grade level, and place in Mathematics 140 or above.

is provided for each program area. The student should realize that
requirements for four-year institutions, specific career objectives, and
course offerings at Wright College may require some changes in these
recommendations and/or sequences. Students should consult with a counselor or faculty advisor before making these changes.
