Our newly constructed facility houses "state of the art" HVAC equipment, Johnson Controls, and an HVAC Laboratory, that provides our students with the very best training and instruction aligned with industry standards.
Alternative High School (16 to 21 years old)

Automotive & Collision Technology
The Kennedy-King College Automotive Department offers training in both Automotive Mechanical and Automotive Collision Technologies.
Auxiliary Sevices oversees the day-to-day operations related to Campus Building Management and Operations in an effort to provide an efficient, safe and well-maintained environment for students, faculty, staff and the general public.
The Biological Sciences Department aims to develop scientific understanding and thinking to enhance skills while fostering inquiry of life through the scientific method, critical-thinking and civic engagement.
Business Services is responsible for protecting the assets of the colleges by ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to while maintaining the financial integrity of the college.
Business-Computer Information Systems
The Business-Computer Information Systems Department prepares students for transfer to a four-year university and/or careers in Accountancy, Management and Marketing, and Information Technology.
Career Planning & Placement Center
Kennedy-King Career Planning & Placement provides comprehensive services to help you make informed decisions about careers. We also help you successfully transition into the workforce. Make an appointment in the U-Building Room 2X1 or call 773-602-5307
Center for Working Families (CWF)
CWF is a career and personal financial service center located on the campus of Kennedy-King College. CWF provides job placement and readiness services to KKC students & surrounding communities. The Family Net Center provides computer training and access.
The Child Development Program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC); it is the premier accrediting and advocacy organization for early childhood education programs and teachers.
Child Development Laboratory Schools
The City Colleges of Chicago operates Child Development Laboratory Schools at five of the colleges, allowing students to take classes knowing their children are well cared for.

Dawson Technical Institute (DTI) of Kennedy-King College
DTI is an academic job training center for Construction Technology careers established in 1968. Named after U.S. Congressman William L. Dawson, DTI is recognized for providing top quality job training and construction industry career development.
Disability Access Center
The Disability Access Center provides coordination and supportive services for students with documented disabilities.
The Facilities Management department handles requests for facility usage and room reservations.
Fine Arts and Theater
The Kennedy King Theater Program is designed for students to receive either an Associate in Applied Science degree or an Advanced Certificate in Theater Technology.
Kennedy-King supports District Human Resources' mission to attract, recruit, develop and retain the most highly qualified and diverse workforce that will support and deliver on the City Colleges of Chicago's Reinvention and Strategic initiatives.
Humanities, Fine Arts, Theatre
The Department of Humanities offers, General Humanities (inter-disciplinary) and specialized courses such as Fine Arts, Music, Theatre Art, Literature, Religion, Philosophy, and Latin.
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) supports student success by providing a leading edge technology environment for students, faculty and staff to improve teaching, learning and operations.
International Student Services
International advisors at Kennedy-King College supports all of the educational needs and immigration requirements of International students.
Janitorial Services provides general cleaning of the interior and exterior of the buildings.
Students are now able to scan documents ONLY, for free, and save on USB Drive. Color printing is now available!! Color printing is 10 cents a page.

The Media Communications program prepares students for careers in Television/Video, Radio/Audio, Media Sales and Marketing, and Interactive Media. The program offers Associate in Arts and Associate in Applied Science Degrees.
The Music department here at Kennedy King College offers, Fundamental of Music Theory, Group Piano I and II, Introduction to Music, and Perspective In Jazz.
Office of the President
The President is the college's chief executive, administrative and education officer and is responsible to the Chancellor of the City Colleges of Chicago and the Board of Trustees.
The Physical Education department offers various courses in fitness, swimming, and team sports.
The Physical Science Department offers courses in Physics, Physical Science and Chemistry.
Facilities Management maintains, replaces and repairs the campus buildings, grounds and utility systems.
The Office of the Registrar administers the enrollment of students, maintains student records, and works with faculty, administration and staff on academic matters.
Reprographics and Mail Room
Reprographics manages print material requests and Mail Room is responsible for the collection, distribution and processing of the College's mail.
Safety & Security
Campus Safety and Security is available 24 hours a day to ensure a safe and secure environment for all City College students, staff members, and visitors.
