College to Careers Program
Malcolm X College was named City Colleges' healthcare hub and provides a quality healthcare education to enable its students to compete for the 84,000 healthcare jobs that are anticipated in our region over the next ten years. We offer a mix of classroom study, hands-on training and internship at area healthcare facilities. Because many students who attend Malcolm X College also work, we offer flexible schedules and "stackable" credits that allow students to continue and expand on their training in the future.
Malcolm X College students have access to a host of resources to support them on their path to success, including: wellness center, transfer center, career center, veteran center, disability access center and more.
The majority of full-time students are recent high school graduates; however, many adults also attend classes. Our students ages range from 16 - 60 and beyond! Classes consist of roughly 25 students.
