Assessment Home
The Assessment Committee of Wilbur Wright College is a volunteer body comprised of faculty, staff and students. Our primary responsibility is overseeing the development, implementation and documentation of the assessment of student learning. The committee leads the operation of assessing teaching and learning at the college.
Our goals are to
- clearly communicate and demonstrate improved student learning
- collaborate with and engage all areas of the college in the assessment of student learning
- develop college-wide awareness, understanding, and participation in assessment of student learning
We are committed to
- the scholarship of teaching and learning
- expanding our resources, presenting workshops, and conducting research on best teaching and learning practices
- improving and increasing the benefits our students gain by their Wright College experience
The Committee sees assessment as
- an ongoing process which helps us help our students achieve academic excellence and to become lifelong learners
- a transformative inquiry that leads to and supports improved learning and teaching, institutional effectiveness, and public accountability
