As Manager of Aon Corporation’s Information Security Policy and Strategic Development, Mr. Harris is instrumental in the development and refinement of corporate security policies, standards, and procedures. Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the corporate technical information security website, he also practices his specialty in the organization, which is to deliver security awareness training.
Additionally, Mr. Harris’s involvement includes security audits,security vulnerability and risk assessments on Aon’s Internet connections, E-commerce sites, and internal systems. He also functions as a consulting engineer and architect for secure network systems, with extensive involvement in the deployment of E-Mail content filtering and virus scanning at Aon. Mr. Harris is a key member of Aon’s Information Security Incident Response Team, where he assists with incident handling, and he evaluates and recommends security products for Aon.
During the past five years, Mr. Harris has taught a variety of
courses to security professionals for the SANS Institute. He
is frequently invited to speak on Internet and security-related topics to both laymen and information security professionals. |

Peter Sullivan

Peter Sullivan has over 8 years of experience in software development, and over five years of experience in application security. He has worked in all phases of the security development lifecycle, conducting developer and engineer training, performing threat analyses, risk assessments, design and code reviews, and security testing.
Mr. Sullivan has worked throughout the software development lifecycle to implement enterprise client server and Internet based software applications using the Java 2 Standard Edition and Java2 Enterprise Edition platforms. He has extensive experience and knowledge of Java technologies for use with
XML, LDAP and cryptography.
Mr. Sullivan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (cum laude) from the University of Notre Dame and a Masters of Science in Computer Science (with distinction) from DePaul University. |
