What is ACE Camp?

 

Wilbur Wright College's Aviation Career Education (ACE) Camp is a weeklong summer day camp program that will be held at Wilbur Wright College from July 23 to July 27, 2007. It is designed to introduce inner city students, age 13 - 18, to flying and aviation related careers.

Camp participants will learn about the world of aviation by participating in classroom activities and field trips.

At ACE Camp students will:

 

Learn about airplanes, flying and flight safety

Take orientation flights

Visit Midway International Airport and the FAA Control Tower

Attend the FAA Oshkosh Air Show

Meet and talk with aviation professionals

Tour of Air Traffic Control facilities
