PRE-GED PREPARATION: Includes math skills such as percents, fractions, decimals, and word problems.
English and Reading include vocabulary, spelling, outlining, identifying the main idea and cause and effect concepts. Reading skills in content areas such
as science and social studies are also included. This level is also known as Adult Basic Education (ABE).

When registering, please have two current forms of identfication with proof of residency.

      • Voter Registration Card
      • State ID
      • Copies of a letter, a lease, or a bill in your name

If applicable, please bring your Public Aid card with you to registration.
Beginning two weeks prior to each registration period, contact the Wright Adult Education Office(773/481-8820) to confirm individual dates and times for each registration.
Students under 18 years of age must bring in a high school release form (transcripts not accepted).

You can also contact the Cook County GED Testing Program at (847) 328-9795 to request a test application.
